Winter Bible Study Living in Awe of God Study of the Book of Exodus Because of His awesome nature and character, God has certain expectations and seeks certain responses from His people. This study in Exodus is designed to lead adults to expand their understanding of God - including truths about His nature and character - and to fulfill God's expectations of them as His people. Four essential truths about God form the basis of the content of the Book of Exodus: God is always faithful; God is absolutely powerful; God is contiuously good; and God is eternally present. Dr. Duane Garrett is a professor of Old Testament at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Garrett is a graduate of Rice University; Trinity Evangelical Divinity School; and Baylor University. He has broad experience as an educator, Southern Baptist missionary and pastor, and as a Marine Corp reservist. This study will begin at 6:00pm through 7:30pm.
